AaBKC Social med Małgorzata Żurada

Skrevet 11. nov 2019

Udstillingen Linear Chains of the Body-Mind åbner på Udstillingstedet Spanien19C d. 23. november 2019.

AaBKC Social with Małgorzata Żurada
Friday, November 15, 2019 at 9:30 am in Spanien 19C

Former artist-in-residence Małgorzata Żurada returns to Aarhus to exhibit a new body of work titled Linear Chains of the Body-Mind. This exhibition explores the ideas of Italian neurologist Giuseppe Calligaris (1876-1944), who discovered a network of lines along the body where the skin has less electrical resistance. He believed that stimulating these areas could activate the subconscious mind, cause changes in perception, and even induce psychic experiences.

At this AaBKC Social, Małgorzata tells the story behind the exhibition, focusing on the research she conducted with an online community of interested professionals from different fields. Together, they put Calligaris’ theories to the test, making practical experiments and comparing their observations.

Join us on November 15 to catch up with Małgorzata and hear more about her project. All are welcome. This event will be in English.

The exhibition Linear Chains of the Body-Mind opens at Udstillingstedet Spanien19C on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
