Workshop - Business model innovation within the arts

I forbindelse med Creativity World Forum har du nu en enestående mulighed for at deltage i en inspirerende workshop. Aarhus Billedkunstcenter og Performing Arts Platform kan, i samarbejde med Det Jydske Kunstakademi og Aarhus Kunstakademi, præsentere workshoppen: Business model innovation within the arts. 

Workshoppen er primært henvendt til billedkunstnere og performancekunstnere, men andre interesserede kunstaktører er også velkommen til at tilmelde sig. Workshoppen vil være et mix af inspirations præsentationer og hands-on work sessioner.
Workshoppen faciliteres af José Rodrigues fra Trans Europe Halles og Katarina Scott fra The Creative Plot. José og Katarina er begge partnere i research projektet Creativity Lenses. Workshoppen vil foregå på engelsk.

How can we strengthen the continuous and sustainable life of artists or arts organizations.
Can business model innovation help artists or arts organizations within the arts field to become more resilient?
 
Based on the recognition and definition of the value of artistic, aesthetic and creative activity and production has to offer the world we try to enhance our ability to recognize options and possibilities and to expand our “field of operations”- without compromising the artist.
 
Participants will be inspired and reflect upon the role of innovation in the arts and culture sector and analyze the key issues and challenges of their existing models.

 
Participants will be introduced to several methodologies for clarifying their purpose and
key drivers, spotting their main challenges, and for developing ideas and projects.

The workshop for both those who are either starting up their professional careers or a new creative project or business and those more experienced who are looking to expand their professional meaningful options - or even to make changes in their professional career.

  
Duration: Workshop will be 7 hours long – between 9.30 and 16.30 – including a one-hour break for lunch.  (Coffee and networking between 9.00 and 9.30)
Participants should be able to attend the full workshop.

 
 
Participation in the workshop is free – but registration is binding when confirmed.
Accordingly there will be a fee of 200,- DKK in case of no show without cancellation.
Cancellation no later than the 2nd November at 9.00
